All profits from each purchase of HELIO—during and after this campaign—will support nonprofit organizations through our Share Light program. These nonprofit partner organizations have provided solar light and energy through a variety of solutions to those in need for the last six years. We have worked with each of them over the last year to learn from their deep in-the-field experience about the needs of those living in regions without reliable energy access.
These nonprofit partners, together with you and HELIO, will bring solar light and energy right where it is needed most.
There are over a billion people worldwide who use candles, kerosene, or wood to light up their lives. These fuels are expensive, dangerous, and make it almost impossible for children to study and to achieve their full potential.
The Global BrightLight Foundation (GBL) provides practical, affordable solar energy solutions to rural communities in Peru and Guatemala that currently lack access to electricity. Makers4Good support will fund and expand their Light a Village program for families in Guatemala. Details on this program are available on GBL's site.
"By harnessing the power of the sun, we can provide light and power to those without reliable access to energy. This saves families money, improves their health, safety, and educational outcomes."

"HELIO provides clean, renewable and safe energy for all of life's adventures. It is powerful, can light up your path in the dark, give you a soft reading light and charge your favorite devices when you are off-grid. My husband and I love it."
